dear sir‚
i am writing this letter as you are going to review the case of galatasaray sk soon. as far as i know this case has been referred by the chairman of the cfcb‚ jos narciso da cunha rodrigues. i assume he has found out the agreement made between cfcb and named club was not a fair decision. i have to say that this is the way i and many football lovers feel.
as you will see clearly while you review the case‚ galatasaray sk has had a previous agreement with cfcb and some conditions placed on to the club. unfortunately‚ the club has not conformed the rules set up on the initial agreement and violated financial fair play rules gravely‚ about 140 million euros exceedance on the loss limit.
i believe as a result of this fairness‚ the club has had a serious advantage against its competitors in its own nation and this unfair advantage made them to win the league they played which awarded them with direct ticket to the champions league. now if uefa allows them to compete in the champions league‚ they will be rewarded for their violation and will make them more advantageous against its competitors. i find this very unfair and will seriously harm the uefas credibility.
you should also take into account the statements of current galatasaray sk president mustafa cengiz‚ who recently said that "any other decision is a suicide for the uefa. if uefa breaks the agreement with us‚ it means that uefa wills to shoot itself in the brain.". i strongly advise you to reconsider the agreement with galatasaray whose president is implicitly threatening the uefa. if uefa can be threatened like that and depends its decisions on the threats‚ there will be no stable agreement uefa can hold with clubs in the future.
i am kindly asking to review the agreement galatasaray reached recently with cfcb carefully and help to all football lovers by serving justice fairly.
